cladding looking good
is the reflection going to be a problem on sunny days?
the building he designed here in Los Angeles had to be sand blasted because the reflection literally cooked the area around it

Thanks to DKNY617 on WNY, pics of the only flat surface on this building ( and in my opinion, the facade looks good here, so I can imagine how great it will look on the other sides of the building, once it is done).

Would like to see the cladding on the sides. That is the special part.

the cladding is about to hit a bumpy ride, one the other side of the tower though.

While this building may not mesh that well with its current surroundings, you have to look at how this will look in the future! Manhattan's skyline is constantly changing and evolving, who's to say that fifty years from now this won't look completely natural in a new downtown skyline?

I think this building is a bold step into the future for the highrise-blandness of Lower Manhattan. The completion of the World Trade Center will bring this full circle.

Wave panels are coming to the site and installed now.

Thanks for that. It seems pretty difficult to get close for close up pics.

it seems the setbacks are to far in. we'll have to wait until the cladding gets to the 12 or 13th floor before we really get the full scope of it.
