Come on Frank, I know you don't care about energy, but you could at least make some effort at it

just cos south side doesnt have wavy effect. This building will be covered in silver and the whole thing will look awesome from distance or near.

The cladding is absolutely stunning. I can only imagine what the finished building will look like.

Or you can look at the renders. Pretty sure they look close enough to reality

Is this some kind of game. This building shouldn't be that hard to find. You can see more of these other buildings in this picture then anything.

The cladding is turning out great. Even though all buildings eventually go through special assessments to take care of faulty...you name it...does anyone forsee any potential issues with having the cladding in such an unusual shape?

I'm just curious, how does something this tall get approved for a neighboring mostly filled w/ low-rises? I don't mean it in a bad way, just really curious what NYC uses as a guideline. Is it simply air rights? Or something more complicated?

Actually some residents in the area wanted this thing, particulary the people living in the awful looking apartments buildings near by. Personally I hope they tear those down one day and put some real residential towers up. They’re a complete eyesore coming form the Brooklyn Bridge.

The lowrises in the photo above are actually quite a distance away. This building never would have been built there. This building is on the north edge of the Wall Street, highrise district.

It's low manhattan this is second or third tallest building in that area. Most of these buildings are well over 500 feet tall. Plus there rebuilding the WTC so no one can really bitch.

You said it just right; what a beautiful skin this building has.

The cladding is progressing quickly!
