I love the curvy exterior their putting up this thing is going to look so cool Downtown... Is this project still having financing problems? I would hate to see this building be put on hold.

The facade turns out better than expected. Luckily.

Still sad it spoils the view towards Woolworth. Really sad.

Those buildings contain government-subsidized housing which is sacrosanct in NY. They never will be razed.

her in the netherlands to but even public housing has to be updated from time to time relocate rebuild higher & better and let te people move back in(but that was not the point of my comment it was that in comparison with the buidings infront of the beekman it's calding is truly a piece of art)

The newest pictures CLEARLY show a new floor has been added. They’re just coming off a transition floor that took weeks to complete, it's going to take time for them to get going again.

in the newer pictures, the cladding is one floor higher and the formworks are in place for a new floor on top (you can tell because of the setback)
