I knew this addition to skyline of the area will make Woolworth even more fun to look at having such a beauty to behold next to it as well.

whats going on with the curtain wall? are they having problems installing it? seems like they slowed down alot?

normally after 30 floors i would figure on a job like this they are gonna have problems with the slab edges! curtain wall embeds.

The surveyors doing the concrete layout on this job deserve alottt of credit! to do a 2 day and 3 day cycle and have time to layout all the slab edges and keeping the building plum for that kind of height is just amazing!!!

why doesn't the hoist go all the way up?

I believe its code to be at least 3 floors below stripping floor/?

What I like about this project?

While almost 90% of all skyscrapers currently under construction all across the 5 continents are covered in blue/green glass and all looking kind of the same and very transparant, NYC again is setting the trend with this new design, just like they did during the 1930s, using different materials that are so essential if not crucial to make a skyscraper look jawdropping and elegant.

It shouldn't be all about the glitter/glamour effect, but also the building itself.

I like it and thank you NYC for building this true La Prima Donna for the city of lights.
