Not a bad idea, they could have made it wavy to match. That said, the 3 sculpted sides create plenty of excitement.

if it has triple height windows on top and their lit up that will be plenty, you dont want a dubai looking building in new york.

New York City Hall
November 19, 2009

Visible from the steps of City Hall is the under construction Beekman Tower of Forest City Ratner (the would be developer of Atlantic Yards) and architect Frank Gehry (the would be architect of the would be Atlantic Yards). It topped out at its final 77 stories today.

I accept with information:the new Beekman Tower (8 Spruce Street) ramps up, developer Forest City Ratner is driving its first piles around the site's perimeter for four days beginning the week of October 30th (excluding the weekend). Called "soldier piles," the piles provide a barrier around the site's sub- grade perimeter that allows crews to excavate the soil within.

New York is a city that works! I love it...

You don't need to build the tallest, the best, the most beautiful skyscraper in a city to make it look like a CITY, it has to be a place with a certain vibe, be dynamic, be beautiful, inhabit different people and knows colors to be working!

That city is New York, another city that works is Toronto or London, UK.

I love New York, New York rules!

I love the flat side, but of course the wavy side is better. I don't understand the fuss over the flat side. IMO gives the building more class

The flat side is also cool. Just amplifies the uniqueness of the curvy side. And the cladding is great, I think no one would complain if it was just all boxy with such a nice shiny cladding... But this is way better, I love it!
