Jazeera Airways celebrates first birthday by charging KD 5 to all destinations

KUWAIT, Oct 29 (KUNA) --

Jazeera Airways turned a year old today, marking a key milestone in the region's aviation industry. The first privately owned airline in the Middle East has changed the way people travel from and to the region by championing travellers' independence and control. Marwan Boodai, Chairman and CEO of Jazeera Airways said: "A year ago, we launched our dream to be in the business of empowering travellers, today we are proud that Jazeera Airways has been able to achieve our vision of putting more control into the hands of our travellers. We will continue to work with the best partners and international suppliers to enable us to continue empowering them.
" As part of the celebrations, the Jazeera Airways has announced a special anniversary offer featuring a single price of KD 5 to any destination on any flight from the 30 of October to 2 of November, 2006 for travel from November 12 to March 24, 2007. Customers can book their tickets through their chosen travel agents, over the phone by calling the Jazeera Airways call centre 177, or online at jazeeraairways.com, where travellers can book and pay for their flights and reserve seats in the convenience of their home or office.
