Also: we should hire our own architects, not Canadian ones

It's not bad, next time in similar sized buildings they should just start using a liittle bit more glass. Make it more skyscraperish.

Well and there's no need for it to look anything spectacular, as we can see it's surrounded by commieblocks so the area is not good.

It's a medium-income residential, why would it need more glass?

the whole middle looks just too outdated and plain. However the top kinda looks like the new condos they're building in toronto on lakeshore blvd. near Palace Point and Palace Pier...

Indeed, reminds me of Voyager a lot. That's sweet.

this one looks interesting. I like it, though a little weird with the old building in front, but nice mix, looks like there's density

Congratulations!!!

I like it a lot - elegant modern architecture, 100 times better than those post-soviet fake palace towers with all those towers, pinnacles etc.

The shape is nice but the brown color of the fasade is what takes away from the building
Either cover it with glass or paint it in white , in brown looks like one of those projects in Brooklyn

Here's another similar one

And more. Actually there are maybe a hundred of these similar projects constantly going up in Kyiv. Their locations are usually these grey-commieblokish areas where it doesn't matter how the building looks - it's still better than soviet commieblocks

Massive rounded commieblock.

I seen one of these in a thread somewhere, and it's origin is in Switzerland I believe. Let me find the link.

For one thing, it's probably fun to live in one of these.

On the contrary, I think these semi-circular residentional blocks create this special inner atmosphere within it

I like it. It's unique, grandiose, etc. Looks like a modern colosseum.
