Heathrow is all over the place today - all Domestic Flights are cancelled just now because of the Fog... must be fairly serious. Edinburgh's 7.30 to LHR left at 10.30 today; it was the last flight to leave from Edi. Glasgow has been similarly affected - I'm not sure anything has left for London all morning.
It's fine up here, mind

Yeah, they're one of the last remaining interesting acts on Ninja Tune.
Fog made me check the webcam of an office building, called the Eusebiushof, going up! I posted shots from when they layed another floor http://skyscrapercity.com/showpost.p...7&postcount=52 Simply amazing how few people are needed to build this. Two wings of 6 floors and a 'tower' of 16/60+mtrs. Warm weather actually proves excellent in order to finish projects. |

I wish drivers would switch off their fog lights after the fog has cleared.

It looks like a might not be going to Amsterdam for christmas.
I realise that no one can control this, but BA won't say if my flight tomorrow will be cancelled or not. Also until they cancel it, we won't get a refund and therefore can't make alternative arrangements.

Bloody hell, about 5 minutes ago, I could see pretty much everything I would see on a normal day, but now the fog has blotted out my view of the house to the rear of us.

Building sites should always be covered in fog, thus the nimbies would never be able to see what's going up

Just went for a walk and the fog was amazing. Though my hands are numb and cold.

I fucking sick of hearing about the twatting fog!
Its beautiful in Manchester today and the only reason its all over the tossing news is because the soft South East is affected. If it was foggy in the north no one would a) give a shit and b) whinge about it like it was the fucking apocalypse!* For the record I like fog - its kinda cuddly. * before you all spit the dummy i'm not saying anyone on here is whinging - just the cunting London based media.

People in the South East are easily scared. Maybe it should be named as organic fog, so they'll feel relieved. Maybe they are reminded of when they got lost and entered a gay sauna accidently

And we get plenty of news items from the north - usually snow and flooding.

There have been no delays from Manchester Airport- the visibility has been good over the past few days. Obviously flights to and from Heathrow have been affected though.

There was also a high of 6C in Manchester which isn't far off average. It seems to have been even milder further north, with temperatures close to 10C in Scotland.
