I remember this time 2/3 years ago I was in town in Manchester on the weekend and it was about 20c. We've had some crazy weather over the last few days. Yesterday it looked like the end of the world was coming.

Yeah, those supercells over the Great Plains can deliver huge hailstones. Still, they're not as large as the ones which killed 92 people one time in Gopalganj, Bangladesh - they were as large as grapefruits.

We haven't had a day over freezing in about two months, plus last friday we had a snowstorm, during March Break!

Still have about a foot of snow on the ground.

Nice! John Peel used to sell hail insurances when he lived in Texas.

I was wondering how Swiss RE would take hail storms. Does the hail glide down along the building? Would a Londoner be so kind and willing to check?

I know! The sky's a bit dull here because of the haze but it's a good photo opportunity. I'm gutted me camera's got to be sent off for repairs.

it was perfect today - not too hot, not too cool - just about right to sit in the park, read the paper, drink beer and get a bit of colour on your skin.

also REEspect to my motherfucking crew for keeping this thread alive - booyakasha!, and so on and so forth.

Someone's robbed my six pack of beer . I can't decide who was more likely to rob it; my brother or the rabbits!

It's a bit of a contrast between the post at the top of this page and then what's going on now
