Pedestrial bridges. You know 'pol-e aber-e piadeh'? They add stairs to the middle for the BRT line.

Finally ask yourself this: Do you visit an ancient city to see highways or the ancient sites?
its disguisting in my opinion, it ruins the city big time, at least they should of built it in a traditional design like make it look like siosepol

Start of Qom-Mashhad highway construction.

A six-lane freeway, extending 1,000 kilometers from the central city of Qom to the northeastern city of Mashhad, passing through Tehran, Garmsar, Semnan and Sabzevar. The freeway project is estimated to cost 30,000 billion rials (around $3 billion).

Iran has become very proficient at subterranean engineering. This is a big deal.

I agree

Iranian tunnels and Autobahns (and parks) are really word-class.
Also the time in which the projects are finished has been good lately.
So our construction industry is doing well recently.

I hope the same can be said about the machine-engineering, where planes and trains of international level are made, in near future.

Iran-Russia highway planned

Iran and Russia have prepared all the needed technical and economic plans to build the highway.

After the Tehran-Qasvin and Qasvin-Rasht (recently) highways were finished, this projects will connect Rasht with Astara (via Anzali) and from there via Azerbaijan to the Russian highway-network, eventually to Moscow (and Europe).
So the highway will pretty much run alongside the railway, that is under construction right now.

I think they were testing it out first, in the later fotos the water level is lower and not hitting the roof.
