Great photos Storm Shadow of a pretty unknown place in Africa. Burkina Faso is overshadowed by Mali when it comes to Africa´s Sahel countries... I am happy that you have opened a thread.

New Ouagadougou projects. Many of those are entirely financed by Lybian or Arab investors...so the city will also change in the coming years

Thanks. It's an underrated city and when comparing Ouagadougou to Bamako it seems that Ouagadougou has a few new tall structures, from business, schools to housing. Bamako only seems to have the BCEAO tower and many old classic structures. I've created a Bamako and even a Niamey thread not so long ago. Ouagadougou is the most impressive out of the other 2 Sahelian cities that I've mentioned. |

EH EH!
Never thought Ouagadougou would be this developed. I love the architecture! Very uneuropean and still it doesnt look as if they've struggled just to be different. I think it would be very important for West Africa to have major cities further in from the coast. After all, thats were most of our old capitals were in precolonial times.
