how many suites / boxes are planned?

I dint find info about number of VIP boxes on the official site http://www.stadionspartak.ru/. There is a question about that there, but they only confirm that there will be boxes for rent. The site has been last updated long time ago - 30/10/2008 and capacity information is wrong.

Latest capacity info is given by Spartak general director Valeriy Karpine in May 2008: "plans were corrected, it will be 40k, we will start construction this autumn". http://www.sovsport.ru/news/text-item/332264

There is nothing final until it will be actually built and open.

1. Future Spartak stadium will be rated 4 stars, according to UEFA classification.
2. Current status of the project: finishing survey works. No construction started.

1. No, it won't. The ratings by stars ended three years ago. But even if it was still used, a stadium to be of 4 or 5 stars would need to bid for an European final. If not, UEFA wouldn't even care to rate it.

What we have today are UEFA Elite stadiums, with three categories: 1, 2 and 3.

I'm quoting the words that belong to chairman of board of directors of Spartak stadium Jury Tsovrebov, his interview was published 04/08/2009 in gazeta.ru
I dont think he would deliberately misinform millions of fans.

As for Russian bid for WC-18/22, this is official, this information already avaliable in the press. 14 candidate-cities are included in the bid, with Moscow ofcourse. Future Spartak stadium can/will participate in the bid also, why not?

So, you're saying that the one that is lying is... UEFA.

And he has done nothing that the Ukrainians haven't already done with the Donbass Arena by announcing that the stadium would be a 5-star stadium when that kind of criteria was already dead!!! And I repeat: even if it wasn't dead, a stadium would need to bid for an European final to possibly enter the list of UEFA's 4 or 5 star stadia.

Proposed cost: 200,000,000 $
Construction: Spring 2010 - 2012.
Capacity: 42,000 - 45,000

They will build only stadium since the beginning, without 12,000-hall. The hall will be build after stadium total completion.
