Is the panel missing on your first picture lj missing for a reason? (On the same row as the cleaners are on, to the right)

My OCD kicks in about these things haha.

There's a fair few broken panels that need replacing.

If I recall (and this is the side I see all day from work) that panel has never been put in, i.e. it hasn't been broken.

Wow! Didn't realise it's that far! Am going to try and go to the same spot with my camera over the next few days to try and get some pics. May also see if I can spend some time on Southend seafront to see if the Shard can be viewed from there.

Yes of course! And so environmentally friendly too! Proves the Shard's green credentials (well yellow anyway)

You can see it well on the approach to Willesden Junction. Really need that crane to go in order to be able to make a proper judgement.

Thanks, yes a tripod is essential with a 1.6 second exposure.

I saw the Shard and the rest of the London skyline from Thorpe Park today (well, technically yesterday...) - you get a great view of London if you look to the left at the start of the new 'Swarm' rollercoaster. Obviously Thorpe Park's not as far from Central London as the photo above, but it was still good to see the Shard and appreciate just how much of a mark it's made on the skyline.

Great pics there cyber. I'm particularly loving the ones with no crane visible from the north side - looks so much better without the clutter - and the ones nearer the bottom before the stitch, really show the complexity and originality of the design which is lost from afar.

Cleaners are out on the North side again and I can't see the splodge from here, but that might just be due to the angle. Misty, can you see?

Popped out at lunch time and took a few photos before being beaten back by a hail storm!
