Maybe we'll find out in the Channel 4 documentary tomorrow night!

At least I learned about the crane-balancing trick today. I feel right proper clever now. It's like the Towers of Hanoi in reverse.

I'm quite excited to see tomorrow's documentary. Might have to be on 4OD though, Orange Wednesday means we have to watch The Avengers, which happens to be on at the same time.

Cybertect, you do realise that Misty is probably a 6' 6" crane operator called Derek, don't you?

With contrite apologies to all!

anyone know if it's definitely going to be on 4OD, cos if it is, I should be doing other things tonight, but if it isn't, maybe I will try and rework my plans...

Uniform film of The Shard appears on Channel 4 documentary

Wednesday 02 May 2012

Uniform’s work to promote The Shard - soon to be Western Europe’s tallest building - is to be featured on a Channel 4 documentary airing tonight (2nd May).

The Liverpool agency was brought in by developers, Sellar Group to create a series of communications to promote the project around the world and this included computer generated imagery and a film of what the 306m tall building will eventually look like.

"This was a challenging and exciting project. The client wanted a film which would drive demand, build the excitement and produce a piece of content that could be used by the international media again and again,” said Nick Howe, managing director at Uniform.

The film has been transmitted around the world, including CNN, CNBC and BBC World News, with content from the campaign going viral.

The Tallest Tower: Building The Shard will be broadcast tonight on Channel 4.

It's started!

Interesting fact about the ground changing when Southwark Towers was demolished - tube underneath shifted by 14mm!

Talking about the £10m+ apartments: "with good transport links" (VT of London Bridge station).

As if the clients would be travelling with the plebs!
