It would be too tall, it would interfere with flight paths, that's why the pinnacle had to be scaled down to 288m

perfect, the surprise is gone now
anyway, there is less than a month now until the shard is supposed to open, in that time they need to fit out the interior, remove the hoist, fill in the gaps on the cladding, and finish the base of the structure, adding the canopies ect, better do it quick!

No thats the development happening to the west of Euston, its called the Regents Park Quarter or something similarly developer-ish.

The Kings Cross Lands are off screen to the left of the second picture potto posted
