Hardly "tiny" ...look at the scale of people/beds etc. Spacious more like. Not Buck' Palace mind but by London standards looks good to me.

They are two levels arent they? otherwise one apartment would have no bedrooms and the other no kitchen .....

They look pretty large to me.

Hi there everyone. Have been watching this thread with great interest over the past year or so, but have never got round to posting anything up to now.

Just thought this article in Better Bankside news might be of interest to those who haven't already seen it:

lol you never know! Might not be a bidet.. think of it like a lovers chair! Its precisely the kind of feature I try out in The Sims. They dont seem to be bothered by toilets in the middle of a living room either.
How about a chute out the side? Like a cat flap but for waste?Ok. I'll stop there!

Does anyone know how much these "flats" are going for? Got to be amongst the most expensive in the world.

I think for that price that you can choose how it must look.

That reception for example can used easily as a bedroom with a few extra walls (no dressing or bathroom).
That kitchen can be in Guest bathroom/cloak room so you have another bedroom etc. for children where now the kitchen is (no dressing or bathroom).

And then above a bathroom for using by the whole family and visitors.
1 bedroom
1 masterbedroom WITH private bathroom

Then you have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 private).

I'm sure I should take it like this and I think it's possible.

Apparently there's not going to be a price set for them. They'll be sold by a secret auction so billionaires will be bidding against each other.

There's only 16 apartments in the tower remember.

I doubt they will get £100 million for them. If they do then the buyer has been shafted. In fact, I strongly dispute the Knightsbridge flats completed for anywhere near that. The Candy Brothers are the marketing kings. They look about £20mln max to me.

£40 mln would buy you this just outside the M25

It would also buy you a 20 bedroom London mansion. Nobody is paying £100 million for a 2 bedroom flat.

Personally I think the candy brothers are like the weavers for the emperors new clothes, full of sh*t!

It is now my life's ambition to befriend someone living in the Shard just so I can spend a night in the guest bedroom.

...or the master bedroom if we get real friendly.

Hmmmm.... rather than run the marathon for charity, you could do several laps round the core.

I bet the apartments are sold as shell's, I'm sure who ever buys them will gut that awful design.
