thats a given, but the pinnacle height has been reached since the spire is done. i read somewhere the crane will be dismantled immediately after the spire is done.

btw, it is now OFFICIALLY the THIRD TALLEST in NYC.

Personally, I love this building.

The contrast of materials, the modern look compliments the surrounding towers and it just looks sharp.

this building officially cannot go any higher, and now my focus shifts a couple blocks east to BoA.

Would be cool to see it lit up like that in reality here. That's a real render or no?

What are you talking about?

Those shots I posted from last weekend were amazing with the fortunate warm weather we had.

The building's exterior is almost complete, now that the spire has been topped.

I don't see much more we could possibly add that has not already been posted.

By next spring, this thread will most likely be archived as we move attention to other construction projects.

But for now, the NY Times Tower construction is on the home stretch.

you live in NYC right? you didnt have overcast skies and showers for the past few days?

clear skies gives us more clear views of the turnout of the spire, etc. yea, the pictures were good for what they were, there are no clear views of the spire from a distance showing the completed spire, or even a shot of the red light.

you did not pay attention to what I said. I understand 100% what you did, and it had absolutely nothing to do with that I was saying. The type of pics I was talking about and yours are completely different. Do NOT misunderstand me, im not discrediting your pictures, they were great, but what I was saying was completely different.

Doc...just shut up, what are you gonna do take away my birthday?
