I'm not saying this to promote Toronto or anything, so I better make it clear as a disclaimer than anyone who decides to turn this around on me and bash Toronto is an idiot And yes, I realize it is MUCH smaller than the NY Times Tower, but...

The Telus Tower in Toronto (U/C) is similar in its design, or atleast from a distance. I like the NY Times Tower alot, so it will be nice to have a little slice of NY Times Tower in our city

This photo from ENR was one of the images of the year, and it shows someone working on the steel mast.

Damn, that looks pretty scary.

How are they gonna get the trees up there for the rooftop "park?" Is that still in the plan? It looks like that from the pictures.

Yea one of the law firms said they were going to put trees on the roof, after the developer said they had cut that part out of the project to save money.

it kind of looks like the north tower of the world trade center... from a distance that is... but just a smaller version...

How much can few trees on the roof cost them after building a scraper like that? Trees really would make the rooftop look cool. :/

Meh. I think this tower is pretty bland. I don't care for it.

It's a good addition to the skyline. It's like a role player.

No. Somehow progress seems to have slowed down a bit. The facade will be extended to the top of the crown.
