Västra Götaland, är tydligen det området är byggbranschen går som starkast framåt enligt byggindex (antar att det är Göteborg som står för den utvecklingen)

Finns det någon analys på detta för er boende i området? Veta att området har legat lite på dekis mot Skåne och Stockholm, därav förklaringen?

Would really not label it "dekis", Gothenburg and the region has had a steady growth, not just as many high profile projects like Stockholm and Malmö recently.

Krm500, I agree totally. I believe the population figures for 3rd quarter will come out on SCB site tomorrow. I expect the figures for both Gothenburg and the metropolitan area to look really good.

+2907 for the third quarter, total municipal population 512,754 as of September 30.

I agree apart from that I think "skeppsbron" is even more important. But we should really concentrate on those projects. Heden is okej as it is and is nopt something really important atm. Same thing with Masthugget and Avenyn.

After watching that video I have changed my mind about this project. Although the highest buildings only are 100 meters everything apart from that is great about this proposal. Love the way you get close to the water no matter where you are in the area.

I though understand that this "viking green city" vision never will become reality. That woman in "centrala älvstaden" made that pretty clear when her first question was: "What is most important for us to take with us from your project?". It was pretty obvious that she wasnt really intrested and Cullbergs seemed to understand so in that moment cause he looks really chocked.

Cant be fun to make such great proposal and be slagged of by someone who havent achieved anything. She probably dreams about small houses where she wants her children to grow up like in Bullerbyn. So thats probably what will happen to Frihamnen. An incredible lame project from the people in the "centrala älvstaden". We have seen this before in Gothenburg and we probably will see it again. The power belongs to the wrong people in this city.

It's a pretty great project except for the viking part. The cube = so damn corny. And not that pretty either. Seriously, is that supposed to be Gothenburg's Turning Torso?

They should hire an international high profile architect to make something world famous out of that spot. But I guess that's a lousy idea since, as Hulthén usually says, the only important thing for Gothenburg is to be a safe & secure city. Oh, and the children's perspective!
