Does anyone know that Yamalova lawyer who keeps being quoted? I often think she isn't correct in what she spouts to the papers, but it may be a good place to start.

I am suprised at the level of people posting on this , i have did have some e mails from yarmolova firm but they were not interested in representing as group only as individual clients with initial 5000aed to look at case and then charge by hourly rate ,i think it was 300aed /hour but hold me on to this.
Has any investors accepted swap deals?

Dear all,

We've now started gathering together a small group of people who are going to be pursing litigation against this developer. As per the lawyer heading the case, we are looking at several counts of fraud being perpetrated by the developer and we have a strong case in our favour which can be used to leverage an out of court settlement. However, in order to initiate proceedings, we need a group of around 20 investors willing to band together and proceed as one. We currently have around 12 investors. Anyone who is interested in joining the group, please send me your email address through private message and i will add it to our communication list. We can even arrange a meeting between all interested parties and the lead lawyer in this case so as to give you a real impression as to the strength of our claim and the lawyer representing us.

I personally am not willing to wait 5 - 10 years to get 20% of my money back. I want to fight and end this now. Let me know if you're in.

I have spoken to the group coordinator so to speak- it is the best chance we have of justice. Please get anyone investors you know to join for their own sake and to reduce the cost of litigation.

This morning another investor joined the legal project. If anyone else is out there please don't be deceived by the second Ponzi scheme the liquidators are constructing. The new developer will also claim that he is doing you a favour by abandoning the project with your life savings in the sand of UAE. I am not prepared to gamble hundreds of thousands pounds of my hard earned savings on another ruse.

I am so happy to at last feel in some sort of control over what is happening to us and our investments. I think the liquidator has enough money to pay us out and they are just biding their time in the hope we will all give in and re-invest. Let's be strong together and we will at least be doing something positive.

By the way, I have already rejected the 'swap' offer via email to the liquidator's - but have not heard anything since then. I've tried calling them but no response.

Has anyone else had any further updates after the swap offer was issued?
