Gazpromneft Supertall Design. official poll!

The poll is finished. RMJM design is approved.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Choose the one you prefer.

Before you vote - few words from me. Please read before making any decision
The place is actually highly disputed in the society. Gazprom and city authorities are plans to build this supertall on an opposite (eastern) side of neva river to the historical center of Saint Petersburg. It will be visible from many places of historical center. The whole historical center of the imperial capital is a UNESCO heritage. Please consider it, when voting.

To people who doesn't know what is this city - few photo threads below.

RMJM one is the only one that should be built IMO. I looked at the pics in the other threads and some of those proposals will look like they loom over which is not a good effect. I know that if I was standing in a town sqaure or something and if I had an option of seeing the top of one of these building over a church or something it'd have to be the RMJM proposal

RMJM LONDON LIMITED

What I want to know is what is on that spot right now.
I wish someone would take pictures.

We looked at mountains until dawn, and then when dawn came, it was too pretty for me - there was pink and blue and gold, in the sky, and on icy places, brilliant pink and gold flashes, and the snow was colored too, and I said," Oh," and sighed; and each moment was more beautiful than the one before; and I said, " I love you, Momma." Then I fell asleep in her arms.
That was happiness then.

in my opinion - Libeskind does not fits into the place. It's too wide to be near historical center.

None. All are too obtrusive. Better don't do this to St Petersburg...

All nice designs. Hertzog & DeMeuron have my vote.

The most standard design has the most votes. Never ask the mass of people to vote for a new landmark, because they will chose something which looks familiar, so something they know, and nothing boundbreaking.

I agree.
Besides RMJM itself looks like a spire. St.Petersburg has always been famous for its spires...
