Current liveries of all german passenger airlines (Hope I haven't forgot one). For the Lufthansa livery see the other posts above me. I have left out some very small and specialised companies

Air Berlin

Augsburg Airways, Contact Air and Eurowings (all subcarrier of Lufthansa, therefore taken over the livery of Lufthansa Regional)

Blue Wings

Cirrus Airlines

Condor Flugdienst (charter-airline)

Dauair (bankrupt)

dba (bought by Air Berlin)

European Air Express

Germania (aka Germania Express)

Germanwings (no-frills-airline)

Hamburg International (charter-airline)

Hapag Lloyd Express (no-frills-airline)

HapagFly (charter-airline)

LTU

Star XL German Airlines (brandnew airline. So brandnew that they obviously don't have an own homepage)

Have you noticed the No-Frills airlines and budget airlines seem to be the more overly painted ones?

Asiana's new painted tail is not bad, but the other parts of the plane looks so cheap. So disappointing, what on earth is that red arror like thing mean? Looks like a low cost carrier now, and the font, oh gosh why must they use that, the old one was just classier.

I agree, the tail is okay but the text and logo i feel just doesn't fit in, the arrow clashes very badly ith the curvy designs on the tail. Its like two seperate things I think it was time for a replacement but a new livery is supposed to be better! just hope KAL doesn't go that way.

strikes me that a lot of people posting here are just using it as an excuse to paste in pics of their local airlines and completely ignore the subject of the thread.

I don't know how to post pics but for what it's worth:

Best: BMi
Worst: Lufthansa: I'm all in favour of simplicity but this one is just dull, dull, dull.

Philippine Airlines has a nice tail design but I never understood why the fuselage says "Philippines." I mean it's Philippine Airlines, not "Philippines Airlines." Thai Airways doesn't put "Thailand" on the fuselage, so it doesn't make sense to put the name of the country on the fuselage, especially when the formal name of the airline gives away the country (I mean it's not obvious that Santa Barbara Airways is the national airline of Venezuela, but Philippine Airlines is obviously from the Philppines). I would guess PAL did it for patriotic/nationalistic reasons (the new livery was introduced not long after the Marcos dictatorship was overthrown), but it still looks kind of silly.

My family's from the Philippines, so I've flown PAL many times, both international and domestic routes, so yeah, it really annoys me.

The new Asiana tail looks like a ripoff of Philippine (not Philippines) Airlines (red, blue and yellow).

My favorite liveries are Air New Zealand and KLM. Garuda looks nice too. Even the new United one looks kind of cool (better than the grey livery). I guess I'm just a sucker for the color blue.
