New Istana Negara at Jalan Duta - Page 13

Back to the topic the location is just not right IMO,What kind of policy is this with the govn after spending so much with putrjaya they still building in KL ?Example the courts at jalan duta,why is JKR headquaters still behind Bank Negara?Infact Jabatan Pertanian along the mahameru highway is expanding with new wing??Dont give me this bullshit reason just because the land was gazzetedlah,because we have spend the alooted budgetlah and all the mumbo jumbo excuse!!!!!!Once and for all if the administration capital is putrajaya thats where all these building should be.....

The reason is to ensure people cannot marching to send the petition or memorandum..

the thing i hate about this bumi run project besides construction cost already super inflated by all additional work claims they had been asking, now they r getting away from late penalty charges with another 10 months plus extension until nov this year.

Yeah i just noticed it yesterday while driving on the DUKE towards the SPRINT highway.
My concern is security more than anything else because of the distance of the highway to the palace!Privacy is another issuelah.

the palace has a nice view of KL but it's has the tall condos in Mont Kiara nearby..not much privacy eh..

Maybe when the land was put aside for this istana mount kiara and putrajaya was not in the picture!JUST BECAUSE it was gazetted therefor they MUST build.

kat thailand, the old Grand Palace punya surroundings lagi lah...macam pasar!
