I was thinking that too, the width of the spire gets thicker toward the bottom, so I think it might be and has to be. Otherwise the gravity ride will be so scary being on the outside of the spire. But probably less fun being in the inside though.

i thought that idea was a little too out there to be true as well,
and the same thing for the ferris wheel when the SWFC was first proposed.

Todd and Carlos thank you for the reposts, a nice way to start the morning.

With the upper smaller tower it looks even more a-symetrical than before, must be a challenge to "straighten" the photos is post processing.
