It should be called a gondola ride rather than a ferris wheel. Ferris wheels dont rotate horizontally.
Whatever the technical term, it will be quite a ride. How long before another tower copies it?

^not really. the next section has a smaller diametre, thus the slowdown. once next section starts it will take off for another 30m or so.

It's good to have a tv tower which isn't the stock standard design. I like this tower a lot and hope to see it in real life one day. Yeah, 37 floors is a lot for a tv tower i must say, but thats still good

Yeah, maybe its just a very simple render. If the design was as open as that, i would think that there will be glass walls rather than those small fences like those in the render. Plus, there will a a ride at the top as seen from the renders, so there will be more fences etc.

1) Cool, it grew again. Over half a kilometer now.
2) Cool, they use the crane for the spire/antenna by having it attached to it. So no helicopters. Neat.
