yea, how's that? are they only paid when the building is done or something?
In holland they get paid for hours, so they try take as long as possible so that they wont be jobless. A 2 story house here takes longer to get built than a 610m TV tower!!

The salary should be paid at the end of every month. If you can finish the construction before the date on the contract, you get extra bonus. If you finish the building after that date, you need to pay fine. I think it should be the same everywhere, right?

Plus the labor fee is relatively cheap and China has a huge pool of labor resources, so the construction company can always hire more people.

That is why the construction in China is so fast.

the buk of spire is now 510m (100m to go)
notice the red/white antenna inside spire? i suppose thats the bit that will eventyually be raised to the top.
