blackish is nice as well, as long as the concrete is not visible all is good.

Too bad there aren't any hippies in China (I assume), the tower would look awesome with a batik pattern.

yeah when the last jacked section revealed 8 balconies below the red/white antenna, this is when i thought it was topped because 8 is lucky. as for height. it could be 610m or 618m, we will have to wait for confirmation.

The structure is steel (on the exterior). Only the interior core is concrete.

Second freestanding structure, posibly the fifth tallest structure.

I think is T/O but it would be great an oficial confirmation.

If the first section of the spire is 80m then it would be logical for the next section to be 40m (its 25 atm) becuase the decrease at even intervals.... (80m-40m-30m-15m-10-7.5m)

who knows what there thinking is.
i scaled this image. ive used the 462m height to roof. this equates to 530m to large sectio of spire and 610m to antenna
if it doesnt rise anymore, its 610m. if it does rise it will be 618m.

Is there an internal ladder in that spire? That platform must be so shaky when someone gets up there.
