Why would they spew out fake smoke for a fire drill? Seems kind of moronic. Unless they wanted to check how smoke would disperse from the tower in the event of a fire. That would make it a test, not a drill, though.

From those pics, it's difficult to say if it's a TV tower or a skyscraper tower.

friggen bloddy awesome piccies dudes. the section below red/white antenna and above large spire section has definatley topped ouyt with 8 balconies.
so im sure height is 610m. i think 618m mabye the sea level height?

Wouldn't it make sense if it were actually 611 meters? as you say that the number 8 is classed as lucky in China? 6+1+1=8
