Hello CanadianNational. I just wanted to say that your assumption is incorrect. The picture in the rendering is an example of a Gyro Drop produced by Intamin Rides.

http://www.ridetrade.com/img/BILDER/...R/GYRO_DRO.jpg

As such, what they are calling a gravity machine is merely a freefall tower of some kind, according the rendering picture. It might not be this kind of a model, but it could be a S&S Power, tower ride of some sort.

Anyways, just wanted to put that out there so people are not expecting a huge thrill ride (A.K.A. Stratosphere Tower), but are expecting something tower like. - Demo.

Thanks for the corrrection.

Perhaps it's better that it is a vertical gravity drop, rather than a spinning, swaying disk. I think the latter would practically induce fear-based comas in the riders, at that height.

In comparison with the other buildings you can really see the size of this thing. It is tall already and the footprint is also huge.

Building this fantastic new CBD is only a small part of Guangzhou's ambitions.
Guangzhou airport 2nd phase, Canton fair exhibition center 2nd&3rd phase(the world's largest exhibition center), Guangzhou new railway station, Subway line5/6/7/8/9/10 and other 7 landmark buildings are u/c.

Guangzhou's goal is to replace HK and to become the transportation center of east asia d south asia.

This has to be the most interesting TV tower in recent times. Very cool exo-skeleton. Can anyone get close ups of the outer structure?
