lol like a plane would seriously fly 100m above a fully lit tower...
anyways im sure they have a red flashy light on top just wasnt flashing when the pics were taken.

nah i wouldnt worry about planes too much i just think it will look much better with the spire lit

Even with all the glittering lights it still looks shabby lots of work needs to be done to maintain this white colour tall structure. I think the guangzhou authorities have a made a mess with assessing how hard it would be to maintain a 600 mt tall white colour spire.

I'm watching a documental about this building right now on nat geo n_n It's so freaking awesome to know that this project comes from a small, a really small design firm, that put all their effort, all their dreams, and all their family money (cause the firm is conformed by a couple) to make this tower come true! very risky, but the good ideas and the good work, will always triumph! cheesy but true xD
