Yes. Why not? Because it doesn't contain multiple floors throughout?

This thing is so tall it will appear to be scraping the sky. A 150m condo IS a skyscraper but the 610m Guangzhou Tower is NOT.

Go figure.

This tower will have 37 inhabitable floors after completion, according to skyscraperpage.com.

When you count this one as a skyscraper you've to count all TV-Towers on earth with at least one floor

Right - but 37 floors is certainly more than 1 floor. In addition, there are numerous buildings now that count vertical gaps as floors anyway. Look at the freedom tower where the atrium is 200', so they just start the floor above that at 20 and claim that there are 100+ floors (when there really are no where close to that). Using that methodology, this tower can now claim it has 150 floors!

yes but i count only floors which are reality . IMO it is totally silly to count floors where no floors are

I have a question: Are they going to leave the piping/structure as it is and add glass or are they going to clad it differently than that?

Fantastic video .... a must see! Nice overview of the city grand plan.

Best part is the CGI trip through the tower starting about 6 mins in. The top platform is just amazing.
