The design of new Tower in Guangzhou is very similar
to project "The Vortex" by Ken Shuttleworth and to Kobe Port Tower:









World First (1896!) Hyperboloid Structure by Vladimir Shukhov in 2006.

Yeah except for one thing.
This tower is 2000ft tall.

my town-sydney has a great tower with wrap around guyed wires.

I remember in 2003 I think a tower very similar to this was proposed in Bayonne, New Jersey to replace the WTC antenna

looking at latest pix. ive worked out core is approx 307m high or just over 1000ft. its now a supertall.
