The core is on one side of the tower more than the other.

that has to do with the steel-strucutre and not with the core. the core goes straigt up the whole height

I find it really really ugly and the location is horrible. Guangzhou needs to focus on density rather than innovation to help the skyline.

Yes the core does go up straight but I just meant that the core isn't in the dead centre of the external ribbing perimeter around it.

buildmilehightower, you are right about the core. It is not in dead center but if you think whole structure, it will be still in the center of gravity of the building. I mean, core is, let's say, closer to left side for first few floors but it is closer to right at top floors.

And Manitopiaaa, you really think density is a very good think for a city? I always prefer Pudong city plan to Manhattan


At the end the whole building project which involves West & East Towers together with this TV tower will look great. Just look at the renders for God's sake. Can you imagine it in real life...
