because “610 ” this number are on some political issues in china now( about fa lun gong),so take it in 618m,so no official records 。。see·the government will not easily say the reasons for this。。
SO~~some records could be found in many academic records pages and website or engineering technology companies of GTVT .but the government and official records..no way in china now
but~~i'm sure GTVT is 618m height~At the same time. I have the internal staff to the Design Institute confirmed the news
yeah, i've read about that on that forum

no more so than any other building. It will have been designed to resist the loads it will endure + safety factors - no more than necessary. Just like any other building

but more than the other thin structures (or how do you call those thin towers like CN tower or space needle that are narrow and freestanding) this is externally tough and much stronger and resistand to other thin towers.

um - no again. It will have been designed for the same stiffness, acceleration and strength criteria as any other tower and/or building in the world. Anything more is just a waste of money and resources and would possibly make the building uneconomical.
Just because it "looks" strong doesnt mean it is.

it seems to me like they would have to make it stronger, to support the curve of the structure.
