Couple more to add.

This was a Mies Van de Rohe designed scheme for 1 Poultry-

M3 architects had a few large schemes such as the Spitalfields towers, Old St towers & Citygate towers (if anyone knows how to grab flash images then post the pics)

http://www.m3architects.com/

Also Wilkinson Eyres Fenchurch tower (not sure why they still list this as ongoing) -Its flash images again

http://www.wilkinsoneyre.com/main.htm

And who can forget the Minerva tower- Sigh

And lastly - Shepperd Ronsons 200m learning tower for Ropemaker St.

Im thankful the coin street work was never reality, and the Millenium bridge just has more class than the Memorial bridge, I think London has had its fair share of great buildings lost, but the odd one here and there has not been a bad thing

Could this be made into a poll? I'd vote for Quay House - its Beetham Manchester in a lovely yellow and pink colour with a helipad

Oh to have had Wil Alsops South Quey, the Minerva and the Millenium tower, and even the Columbus Tower, Add to those the Cheese Grater and the Shard and I'd be a happy and less frustrated man!

The Picadilly Circus plan was awful. I cant believe it was actually considered. It would make the destruction of the Euston Arch seem insignificant in comparison.

Does anybody know what the Elephant and Castle area was like before the current buildings were built? I think thats how Picadilly circus would have ended up if it would have been allowed.

the developer submitted the 1 millharbour plans, it almost got approved, and then a couple of weeks before tower hamlets changed their udp to their stupid millennium quarter plan.
