Hmm, this has a bit more to it than a box really. I like it. Frankfurt's my home from home so I love it whenever this something new for it! This looks good though.

Whats to be housed on the ground floor? Offices or retail?

I believe the current masterplan for the banking district only allows new skyscrapers, if the developer provides public facilities (retail or gastronomy) in the lower floors.
the tower will also have a public restaurant at the top floor.

I had the latest issue of the "Planen + Bauen in Frankfurt am Main" in my mail box today and they don't mention this project

they don't mention many other projects. it's just a collection of some projects, mostly already under construction, or about to begin.

the developer is the owner of the land, a bank called fraspa, I think.

Neue Mainzer 200m - hope soon, probably 2007
Opernturm 170m - uc this month or next (site preparation has started already)
EZB 185m - uc in 2007/08
FHV 125m - uc right now
