I think you should post more construction from Honolulu, im pretty sure it has the 4th most skyscrapers in the US, whats the max height 400ft, so it doesnt block views right, i think theres a bunch under con that are around 400ft.

Today. December 9, 2006

They have switched to the residential floor plate already. Check out how small the floor plate is!!!! The aspect ratio of this tower is so high!!!! Without doubt when completed it will be the skinniest tall building in Hawaii!

I have always loved Honolulu's scrapers, although I have never actually been to the city. Unlike most majo American cities that have the signature skyscrapers, but lack the in-fill development, Honolulu is the opposite, having more than enough shorter in-fill skyscrapers, but lacking a few that really mark the skyline. I love the design of The Pinnacle, and think that a few more of these would really be a great addition to Honolulu. Thanks for posting.

By the way, I had started a Honolulu Development thread in the North American forum some months ago, but being that there weren't many Hawaiian forumers, or any at all that I really knew of, I think it died after a while. With all the development taking place in Honolulu, however, you might really want to consider starting another one. I bet a lot of people would be surprised to learn of everything going on there.

There's one in Jakarta Indonesia too. By far Honolulu's Pinnacle looks the nicest and most modern. Great posting, keep the pictures coming

Good to see Honolulu doing so well. And thanks for perfectly following the naming convention, JP.

Reminds me of a building I had for Superpolis back in 2005. Never finished it though.

The Pinnacle Update August 27, 2007

Structural steel for the crown is going up. Can't wait for the crown to get covered in glass :-)
