If only they'll be faithful to the renderings, then it's podium will be as beautiful as The Shang Grand Tower's.

Eastwood LeGrand 3 [res] Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City

I also managed to take shots of the scale model. Good thing the Megaworld agents already left their booth at Mall of Asia. That while the nearby Anchor Land and SM Residences agents are still manning their respective booths. Masipag yata MEG agents, madami na sigurong benta kaya umuuwi na kahit di pa naman sarado yung mall.

Fat Legrand 3 beside Cyber One.

Very little open space left. I would think that people would need alot of convincing to choose Eastwood over Circulo Verde, the Grove and maybe to a lesser extent Nuvo City

i was at the newly opened eastwood mall. it was not yet fully opened, but i could say that it was nicely done. there's a greenbelt-like park/lagoon in the middle, kinda smallish but good nevertheless.

there's part 3 na pala ang LeGrand, meaning 2 is almost sold out already. wow, eastwood is still sellling like hotcakes!

Even if there is like so small open spaces?

I think Megaworld should buy more lands so that Eastwood will truly have that state-city feeling in the making.

Anyways, LeGrand 3 is, grand. The crown thing, so American.

But I hope they integrate more glass so that it will just shout GRAND!

Eastwood Legrand 3 is huge. It towers over the whole Eastwood development.

Legrand II

Any update on the construction, have this been started yet? Too many buildings now in Eastwood City, getting crowded all over. How's the new mall, just looking at some pictures on web, there's not enough people inside this mall, how come?

Great shopping delights at Eastwood LeGrand 2
Updated February 06, 2009 12:00 AM
Philstar.com

A refreshing shopping and dining experience awaits at the new Eastwood Mall.

Economists often say that shops can make or break a neighborhood. More than just the energy that fuels a community’s micro economy, they help define the area’s stature and livability. Shops help sustain residents by fulfilling immediate needs. They also give a neighborhood its own special aura that adds to the place’s character.

Such is the effect that the new Eastwood Mall is expected to have on Eastwood City. The latest commercial undertaking from Megaworld Corporation, the country’s leading developer of residential condominiums, the luxurious Eastwood Mall is seen as an unparalleled venture that will enhance the quality of life of residents living in this upscale, tower block community, including privileged residents of the 35-storey Eastwood LeGrand Tower 2, the first Eastwood project to boast loft condos in its floors.

“The new Eastwood Mall is a welcome addition to the ever-growing Eastwood City community. This heightens the New York-style shopping and dining experience that current Eastwood City residents and workers now enjoy. Eastwood LeGrand 2 residents will similarly enjoy the same urban experience when they become part of our community,” Eastwood Property Holdings Inc. FVP for marketing and project head John Natividad shared.

Take for instance the many restaurants and cafes seen to rise along Eastwood Mall’s enclosed, palm-lined boulevard cum piazza. From Asian favourites such as Le Thai and Mr Kurosawa to continental excellence seen at The Old Vine and Blufish, these establishments are expected to boost the area’s credibility as a veritable and diverse dining destination.

Eastwood Mall is also seen to ascertain Eastwood City as a fashion mecca. A score of high-end clothing shops are expected to open or have opened in the area, including London High Street retail giants such as Topshop, Mango and Marks & Spencer’s as well as faves of the glam set such as Aldo, Maldita, Nautica and a string of outlets from Stores Specialists: Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole and Lacoste to name a few.

However, Eastwood Mall does not only provide a dose of great retail therapy for fashionistas but also to the young families that will soon move in at Eastwood LeGrand 2. There are dozens of shops that specialize in children’s clothing and footwear, including Periwinkle, Jump, Florsheim Kids, Oshkosh B’Gosh, and Babyland. Young moms eager to develop their magic in the kitchen will be delighted to find that there is a branch of Raffles Kitchen World and a satellite education facility of Center for Culinary Arts (CCA). For dads, there is the DIY shop to do the quick fixes at home while home gadgetry and accessories can be availed of at Sony Centre, Samsung, and Automatic Centre.

The entire family meanwhile can enjoy themselves at Manila’s largest Timezone, watch the latest Hollywood hits in style at the Eastwood Ultra Cinemas, pick up visiting relatives billeted at the adjacent Richmonde Hotel or simply take a leisurely walk through the music-filled hallways presided by courteous mall attendants in sharp suits.

To experience the cosmopolitan city lifestyle at Eastwood LeGrand 2, please call 421-4243 or 47 or visit the showroom at Eastwood City’s posh Orchard Road. Or check out www.eastwood-properties.com.

Alliance Global has no plans of cutting spending despite slowdown
02/09/2009 | 03:55 PM

MANILA, Philippines - Alliance Global Group Inc., whose subsidiary grants McDonald’s restaurant franchises in the Philippines, said it has no plans of cutting capital and development spending this year.

Alliance Global still intends to allot P20 billion this year to build office, residential, and hotel projects, an initiative that will support an estimated 50,000 jobs in the construction industry this year, the company said in a statement.

The company is also expected to complete more than 100,000 square meters of office space for the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector in Eastwood City, McKinley Hill, and Newport City, Andrew Tan, Alliance Global chairman said.

Once completed, these projects are expected to make office space available for 14,000 workers in the BPO sector beginning this year until 2010, Tan said.

About 3,500 workers will also be hired by the company’s subsidiary –Travellers International Hotel Group Inc. – which will open two hotels this year, Marriott and Maxim’s.

Besides property development, Alliance also owns Golden Arches Development Corporation, the exclusive franchise holder of McDonald’s restaurants in the Philippines, and Emperador Distillers, Inc., which produces liquor.

Alliance Global employs an estimated 20,000 workers.

For the third quarter last year, the company reported earnings worth P1.4 billion, two percent higher than the same period a year ago. - GMANews.TV

Any news on this project?

Meg might not push Legrand 3 for now given the financial turmoil. Maybe they'll just focus on the first two projects launched. Heard also that alot of Legrand 1 buyers have chosen to transfer to Legrand 2 to convert their standard units to loft units.

Turnover is expected by 1Q2012 so activity should start soon.

Reposting. This is the Legrand 1 (not Legrand 2 as the video suggests) Studio model unit at @36.5sqm.

an answer to my question..

Megaworld Corporation, the country’s #1 residential condominiums developer, has started work on Eastwood City’s newest jewel: Eastwood LeGrand Tower 1. At the groundbreaking ceremonies were (from left) Eastwood Property Holdings Inc. sales directors Raniel Castillo, Mel Arcinas and Mari Moya, FVP-Marketing John Natividad and AVP-Corporate Affairs Joan Lynn Ordanez. Joining them were Megaworld Planning manager Hermelyn Cullano, JDBEC AVP–Finance Joel Bernardo, G.E. Origenes Principal Greg Origenes and JDBEC AVP–Operations Jeffrey Bernardo. Eastwood LeGrand’s Art Deco-style building will rise 38 storeys over Eastwood’s new Palm District in Libis, Quezon City. Investors may call 421-4243 or 47 or visit www.eastwood-properties.com.
