Wow, Trump really adds some nice height from that angle. I hope Waterview gets back on track soon...

Excellent pics! I can't wait to see what other tricks blue cross blue shield can pull when it has a bigger canvas!

Another try with Autostitch (more consistent but lower quality):

Nice job, everyone.
cbot - Fantastic photos. I've been wondering what the skyline would look like from that angle as Legacy nears completion. What a great addition--it fits in perfectly. The "post card" shot has evolved considerably in recent years (Trump, 340, BCBS, Legacy, etc.).

thanks hydro. I would even say Legacy is dominating and has a bigger impact that Trump! here is an even wider shot.... (also love the pano Jibba, great work)

Thanks, it was my first attempt with Autostitch. I don't really like how the quality was compromised in the stitch, but luckily the buildings from that view are cool enough to distract.
Your panoramas look fantastic. I believe that you posted them on SSP somewhere as well, and wherever they were there I posted something about how amazing some angles of the skyline are with the addition of the new-comers. The scene in that first shot would be drastically different without Trump, BCBS expansion, and 340 OTP. My favorite shot of yours on this page has got to be that first B&W of Sandburg village, though--excellent! A couple more pano attempts from this evening of the same area: ![]()

Love the first two photos especially Chicagostyle. Perhaps the best overhead shot of the UofC I have seen.

How about a little winter warmup? Side note though, some of these pictures date back to 2002 so there might be a building or two missing...

^Great shots. They certainly make me yearn for those summertime strolls down south Michigan Avenue under a leaf-filled canopy.
