[Postojna] - photo thread
Some nice pics I made on a day trip to Postonja cave, one of the most famous cave in the world. Its 20.570 meters long, cave system!! It was made by river Pivka. Deepest point of cave is 115m. 5,3km are open to the public.
I also visited Jama castle or better known as "Predjamski grad"-Cave castle.This castle is only 12 km from Postojna cave. I was lucky since that day they had mediveal games  Cave entrance       Cave castle and peasants surrounding knights  Blue blood   Huge wall above castle

A little correction there - Predjamski grad se kliče "Predjama Castle" v angleščini - Predjama je kraj..
Wonderful pics, but I have to say I think the Škocjan Caves are more spectacular..

What do you mean if it's real? Of course it's real! And they weren't filming anything there, it was a chivalry festival.. They have these medieval games once a year..

At the very entrance of Postojna I know they rent rooms (sobe) in an old house by the road.
