^ The Arts District is one of the hottest areas of DTLA and has been for well over a decade. I don't see that ending anytime soon. Especially with development like this. Build it now. Including the subway station.

^ The 90s? A huge difference from as recent as 10 years ago. 2007 was not long ago. I remember when LA Live opened and while it was huge, there was still nothing much to do in South Park. 10 years later and South Park especially is a totally different place.

The upclose renderings are nice, the one of the entire project from a distance looks like a post-apocalyptic disaster
