Yeah, cold asphalt sucks.

But I mean, how long does it take for someone to come and fix it? Half an hour?

Much longer, they can't close down a lane every time. They just install a 50 km/h limit and wait for good conditions to repair the holes. I suppose they have patrols driving back and forth all the time to monitor the pavement condition. A few trucks can make a hole significantly larger and more dangerous.

A short video of Eindhoven's ringroad (Randweg Eindhoven). It starts at the westbound A67 at exit Geldrop, and via the N2 it ends on the A58 at exit Best.

In 2015 (hopefully) on the left side of this picture there will be a connection with the Centrale As.

Nice pictures Erwin. We didn't have any snow today (yet), but I've heard Emmen had 15 cm. It's still white here though, from the snowfall from december 30th. I made a nice sidewards slide with my car this afternoon because the local streets are solid ice.

Here it hasn't snowed significantly since that time I put a couple of photos up on the off topic ( 17-18 Dec), which took until about the 23rd to totally melt and it snowed a bit, with very little accumulation (29-30Dec) but that's gone. Although we're in for some more next week apparently.

We have "new" snow (today) only 3 cm but the temperature is -8 right now.
We are going to be below 0 the next 5 days in DK. Day and night.

Blimey! It's bloody snowy here, matey!

Anyhow, those big giant holes on the A28 are repaired again. I wonder how long they are gonna hold. They expect temperatures below -15 the next few days.

What is the roadsign on the top left ? I thought it was only encountered in Germany, where it meant "no speed limit". Is that the same in NL ?
