Is it a speed camera (3 of them) located on the white structure carrying signs on the last picture? I mean in direction A12 to Rotterdam.

Yep, it's section control (in both directions). The speed limit is 100 km/h here so you better not exceed it or prepare a loaded bank account for fines.

Any example like that on A50 and A28?
Maybe this is the reason so little divers is using extra lane in Zwolle on A28. I noticed a lot of camera, but not speed camera at all. I am correct?

There is no section control in Zwolle. It's little used because the lane is so damn narrow.

It's there since 2006.

I love this narrow left lane in Zwolle Less no experienced drivers there It's not so narrow, you can easily drive 80-100 km/h in SUV or Mercedes Sprinter, not mentioned normal car :]

Average speed cameras are quite common close to Rotterdam and in Friesland on N-roads :-) since... 2004 I guess?

I usually drive 110 km/h when 80 is the limit through Zwolle, also on the left lane. You usually do not see any people abiding to the speed limit when they're driving on the 2 m wide left lane. Most do 100+.

Yeah I know of the ones in the 80 km zones, on the A12 near woerden, A12 ring Utrecht, some N roads, and the one on the A13 and A4 near Schiphol.

I did not know they put them on a motorway going through a forest, what in the bloody hell for, to save all those children playing there and to please the people living there, oh wait...

These things are spreading like a bloody disease, I hope someone starts blowing them up like they did to many gatso's in the TufTuf club time.
I guess tilting license plates will grow in popularity.

I always get so ****ed off from them 80 km/h zones that I always floor it in 3rd after the last checkpoint, going towards double the speed.
I'm tempted to install a noisy exhaust and drive through the 80 kph zones in second, just to make a point to those ****ers near the motorways who are pro speed camera's and environmental whingers.

But of course, most Dutch are a bunch of scared sheep who accept all this authoritarian crap from the government and happily pay their fines for a couple of km's to fast ( and it doesn't help the population is aging, of course old farts are in favor of this kind of rubbish) , shame more people don't protest their fines, and start resisting this oppression towards motorists. It's not for safety that's for sure:

What roads in Friesland have average speed controls?

N381 between Wijnjewoude and Donkerbroek and N919 at Veenhuizen. Both have an 80 km/h speed limit.

Does anyone know if Viaduct Rozendaal will also be demolished / replaced to create space for a rush hour lane on the A20 between KP Terbregseplein and KP Kleinpolderplein?

Nope .

http://www.rotterdam.nl/A20_Schieplein

As far as I know they only speak about making the sliproads longer and later on ''big maintenance'' on the A20...

The intention is still to build a new A13-A16 motorway to reduce traffic on A20. However, plans have been delayed somewhat because the local municipal governments wanted an additional variant to be surveyed.

Damn! Which ones? Hillegersberg-schiebroek at a guess ?

I hope they build it asap. The A20 cannot cope with the traffic its getting.

A50 Valburg - Ewijk

The construction of the second Waal Bridge near the town of Ewijk has commenced late 2010. Right now, it becomes more visible. The new bridge will feature 4 southbound lanes, the 4 lanes on the existing bridge will be converted to northbound lanes, hence a 4+2+2 setup due to the pylon in the median.

I don't see what's wrong with it; even if you don't understand the word alleen the times underneath should be enough. 130 km/h from 19:00 to 06:00 is pretty clear.

SA has a few similar, except in this case the lower limit applies at night (100 km/h from 18:00 to 06:00) Google Maps

Btw alleen is related to the English word alone, and both are very Germanic ;-)

Random shot from today. This picture is NL highways in a nutshell. Craziest traffic I've ever seen in my life. It's like this almost 24/7. Dutch are however very patient drivers, you should see me, an "auslender", cursing every day at these massive traffic jams but they just don't care. These highways should be widened to at least 5x5, all of them, not just by one additional lane. The whole Netherlands looks like Moscow at rush hour.
