I'm guessing it's somewhere over here.

You can clearly see the LED matrix in the signs, which tell you when one of the bridges is open. So if one sign is lit, you can use the other direction for the airport. This way you can prevent long lines for an opening bridge. If you zoom out you can see Sint Maarten has only 5 or so main through roads, depending on how you're counting. So numbers wouldn't be of any use for the locals, and tourists would find town names to be more usefull. So no need

Well this isn't done in the Netherlands either. And remember this is just a small island without any border checks.

A4/A44, Leiden

The design EIS has been published for the Rijnlandroute, motorway segments. The Rijnlandroute is a provincial road project but also expands the A4 and A44 motorways around Leiden.

It will feature two new motorway interchanges.

1. Knooppunt Maaldrift (A44). The existing A44 will be widened from 4 to 8 lanes between the new Rijnlandroute and N206.

2. Knooppunt Vlietland (A4). The existing A4 will be widened from 2x3 to 4x2 lanes with an extended local/express configuration. Luckily it features 8 through lanes, and not just 8 lanes between the two interchanges.

N381 Drachten - Appelscha

Construction officially started on the N381 upgrade between Drachten and Appelscha. The N381 will be upgraded to expressway standards. The new speed limit will be 100 km/h. It will feature 2x2 lanes with interchanges from A7 to Donkerbroek, and single carriageway to the border with Drenthe province.

Completion is planned in December 2015.

If I got it right, the northernmost 5.0km will get a 2nd carriageway. The next 5.5km section up to the N380 is a realignment and it will feature 2x2 lanes. The subsequent 4.5km section is also a realignment and it will feature 1x2 lanes. The last 2.5km will be renewed. Correct?

Yes, but Donkerbroek - Drenthe border is a bit longer than 4.5 + 2.5 km (approximately 14.5 km).

A1

A1 between Deventer and Hengelo will be widened to 2x3 lanes due to the high amount of trucks on this route.

Ah only 2x2 until Donkerbroek I often drive Donkerbroek - Emmen, 2x2 also much needed there IMO.

N33 Assen - Zuidbroek

The first segment of four-lane highway opened to traffic today on N33, from just after the new Assen motorway interchange (A28/N33) to Gieten (N33/N34).

N280 Roermond

The design of the N280 project was released recently.

The plan is to convert a 4-lane urban arterial into a controlled-access super two with frontage roads for local traffic.

Construction is planned to begin in 2016.

This is fake as well.

But I'm not boring enough to explain that to people watching cartoons with me.

Is it true that the 3rd lane on each side on the 's Hertogenbosch-Eindhoven part of the A2 will be closed due to European Rules/Enviromental rules after it has been build? I hope it's not that black and white but it would be seriously stupid...

The widening impacted a natura 2000 area. The government wanted to mitigate this by enlarging the area, but the Council of State wasn't sure about some phrasing in the law, and asked the European Court in Luxembourg to clarify it. The court answered this and now the procedure at the Council of State continues. There has been no final verdict yet, so they are not going to close the new lanes at this point.

However, the Council of State could annul the EIS, but it seems unlikely they will actually close the new lanes. They could repair the environmental impact statement.
