It is no so expensive? There is an underpass, but still 28 million euro per km

No Almere back then? And I wonder why it's Lelystad and not the more correct by Dutch standards Lelijstad...

Lelystad was named after Cornelis Lely, the engineer who designed plans for sealing off the Zuiderzee and whose work would later inspire the construction of the Afsluitdijk (he died before it was built).

N33 Assen - Noordbroek

The twinning of N33 between Assen and Noordbroek will be fully completed tomorrow morning at 5:00 a.m. The last works were the completion of a new drawbridge across the Winschoterdiep Canal. N33 is a 2x2 divided & fully access-controlled, 100 km/h highway.

The twinning project was executed in record time. In 1.5 years they;

* twinned 37 kilometers of N33
* constructed two new motorway interchanges
* built a second bridge across the Winschoterdiep
* replaced a railway overpass
* realigned a short stretch near Veendam

Well, sir, there's nothing on earth like a genuine, bona fide, electrified, six-car monorail!

Due to Photobucket f*cking up, most images won't be visibile in my old posts. If you need anything specific, please write me.
