bone in Polish is kość, bones are kości

yeah, kostka reffers to cobble stone but also it reffers to ankle

"kotski" sounds like "kotsen", which means "puke" in Dutch

And my house is not on the pics, too bad for you, Verso

By the way, pic 17 and 18 are on my way to school.

Too bad it's "kostki".

But "kocki" (pronounced [kotski]) really means (two) stones in Slovenian.

As a Dutchman, you automatically read "kotski" when you read it fast

Weather was pretty bad today. Lots of snow, hail, rain and wind. Tomorrow is the same, but less rain. When it stays dry for a few hours, I might get my camera for a bike tour near the A2/A9, like I did a few months ago. Let's see if there's any progress on the A2

Chris enjoys driving in snow. I avoid it.

A12 motorway, Utrecht - Arnhem, the Netherlands

A drive on the Eastbound A12 motorway from Interchange Lunetten to Interchange Waterberg, a distance of 55 kilometer. Recorded on a saturday, but this road becomes terribly jammed during workdays, because it carries over 90,000 vehicles/day on only 2x2 lanes. On threequarters of the video, some idiots were waving through traffic and slowed down to 30 km/h on the left lane
There's also some snow visible, the further east, the more snow

Nice video, Chris. I drive on the A12 quite often, but I haven't been there now for a month or two. Indeed some idiots in front of you

The pics of my bike trip, around the southern part of interchange Holendrecht.

Map:

1. Mateusz, does this look familiar?

2. Approaching the A2. Notice that the concrete slabs are still there

3. Big sign about the A2 expension.

4. Looking south at the sand dunes.

5. Leaving Abcoude

6. Entrance ramp heading north.

7. Looking north

8. Looking south, see the construction work for the new viaduct and also notice the rusty crashbarrier

9. Bike path heading north

10. Approaching i/c Holendrecht

11. Still some ice on the sand dunes

12. The Holendrecht river. This is the border between the Holland and the rest of the Netherlands (provinces Utrecht and Noord-Holland)

13. Constructing the new viaduct.

14. Standing on top of a sand dune, looking towards the A9

17. Parallel road.

18. If I wanted to, I could just walk onto the highway via this exit for sand vehicles

19. Fun with tape

20. Looking back

21. Bike sign

22. Looking towards Amsterdam Bijlmer, with some 'highrises'.

23. Modern windmill.

24. Motorway on a dike.

25. Very old street sign.

26. Entrance ramp towards the A9.

27. End of bike path.

28. The same entrance ramp from a viaduct. Notice the strumatic bike path on the right.

29. Close up.

30. Almost in the middle, looking south.

31. Looking north at the north side of the interchange.

32&33. The Foodstrip. Too American IMO: Burger King, Sizzling Wok, KFC and Rancho BBQ&Grill. And behind it: the youth prison.

34&35. Two pics of a golf course. The question is whether this golf course will stay here in future, because the A6/A9 connection is projected over here.

Sorry for the bad quality, but camera didn't work as it should, and there was not very much light. And I need to improve my photography skills.

Hope you like it

Yeah, I thought it to be typical American: "Ok, what are we going to do with the piece of land next to the youth prison? Dunno, what about a few fastfood restaurants, so all the prisoners can see what they are missing?" Sadists

By the way, I should've gone now. Everything is white over here

It's sunday evening and we have 362 kilometers of traffic jam at the moment due to snowfall, all of them located south (below) of the big rivers, including 26 kilometer traffic jam on the A2 between Maastricht-Aachen Airport and Maasbracht.
