It's made by the committee that organises the bid.

Mexico is still eligible to bid but of the Latin American Countries only Mexico is big enough outside of South America, Dom implied more than one might be, so he is a King of Ignorance, just coming on this thread after how many posts and saying something without even looking at the opening post, or do you think Dom, that FIFA will change the rules about continents hosting twice in a row, just to not make you look as stupid as you evidently are? Go home, you are not welcome on this thread any longer.

well, acording to Fifas rules, the countries that bid for a worldcup should not be from the same confederation. Mexico does not belong to Conmebol, but to Concacaf. That gives the country a chance to host the big event. So please try to be more respectful to other members of the thread. If he doesnt know the rules, at least explain them to him.

I already said that Mexico would be the sole Latin American Country eligible to host in 2018. Why is it you defend ignorance? What is so great about ignorance that you would have me praise Dom for his abundance of it?

This should be the most interesting bidding campaign for a while, glad FIFA got rid of their continents rotation policy...

Dont you think the best way to defeat ignorance is to provide Information rather than laugh at the person?

As you might know French people can't speak English just like English people can't speak french.

Well why should the Belguim bid be represented by a French person (or I believe a Wallonian in this case) why not someone from the majority population, I for one will not stand a country that exists to further one of its communities based on race. Why is it also that the Flemish can speak such great English but the Lazy Wallonian cannot, perhaps the difficulty to learn the World's Language is why this part of Belgian is so pathetically poor.

Bristol City are planning a 30,000 seater stadium. This could hopefully be used in the English bid once it is expanded

The way City are going at the moment, I'd say it shows a chronic lack of ambition for them to plan a 30k stadium... Go for 45k, drop prices through the floor to create an increased market, reap the rewards at the concession stands... If they get into the Prem this year or next, they should be able to increase gates to the required level that a 45k stadium doesn't look rediculous (failing that they can put it Ricoh Arena-like backboards to make the stands look smaller and thus fuller)... AND you have a 45k stadium to add to any potential world cup bid.

Can't see Mexico getting a third before other major footballing nations have hosted two, or even one. No disrespect intended toward Mexico.
