Does Perth have enough space around the venue for all the sponsors/commercial affiliate tents? Broadcast compound? Media Center? Temporary and permanent parking?

well ive never been to that stadium before but it looks like although the sides of the stadium are confined, the ends have more than enough parkland.

I would imagine that it is quite substantial land because this stadium is to be built on a different area of kitchner park than subiaco oval currently stands

Contrary to Netherlands/Belgium.
On what exactly do you base that?

2030 - England (Centenary - Football returns Home "'96 Euro" slogan)
2034 - Egypt
2038 - Australia/Argentina

That's the danger for Australia - they should make a deal with the US, as if Australia gets 2022 USA would be a certainty for 2026 (with all European and Asian bids disallowed).

It's also likely that City of Manchester Stadium will be expanded and possibly Old Trafford too.

I wouldn't be surprised that if Australia gets 2018. The US will bid again, this time, facing stiff competition from potential bidding nations, Mexico and possibly Canada.

Mexico, in an attempt to modernize their stadiums and that there should be no more global financial crisis.

Canada, in an effort to boost Soccer's stance in the spiritual home of Ice Hockey and Canadian Football. Also a great chance to modernize stadiums and build such stadiums in cities that could really use them, even if the post legacy is merely the occasional international/league soccer match.

US doesnt have anything to gain though, its almost certain to be one of the two for 2022. If not, another asian nation.

Crazy brits can't stop. First they accused Russia and Qatar in "buying votes".
No apologies.
Now they are accusing Russia and Spain in hidden deals of votes exchange.
No apologies.

Nice bidding campaign, England. Who's next in your list?

Maybe FIFA must exclude England for constant unproved attacks?

Why our Bid Commitee must find excuses on this british paranoia in interviews?

Really, WTF.

While Qatari's are accusing people of being racist...

It's a part of the bidding process. Everyone bags everyone.

Also, I think the tags are pathetic.

I gotta feel sorry for the Netherlands/Belgium bid, being squeezed in between two powerhouse bids. They're not going to get a fair shot. In any other circumstance they would have a good shot at winning, what with their strong footballing tradition (at least the Netherlands). At this point, and I must make it a point to not give in to tabloid speculation, I think that Russia might just eke out a win for 2018. A lot can change between now and then but that's what it seems to me right now.

For 2022, I think it's Australia's to lose, especially now that the issue of venue use has been resolved. Their sporting tradition is already well-known. And it is "new territory" for FIFA to expand the game on, as well as being in a favorable time zone for the newly-important Asian market.

The problem for Australia is China 2026.

For that reason alone I think the USA wins the 2022 WC.
