And in that video of Special Cup Correspondent Steve Nash / Nash Meets Joseph "Sepp" Blatter where does it mention anything about Canada?

Oh and nice job at double quoting.

I give up. Maybe its my fault for making the absurdity of the fake article too subtle, instead of claiming nash almost single handedly organised the bid, and that the prime minister was there, i shouldve included magic carpets and russian conspiracy theories involving Mi5 assasinating their journos.

Well,
I myself have some doubts about the London Transportation.
While I was living in London, It was a hell of a task to commute btwn my Maida Vale Apt and the Old Street Office which is closer to the Emirates Stadium.
I tried the Car for a couple of days and gave up seeing the traffic snarls.
I started using the Tube, which used to be jam packed but was faster than the personal travel trumoil.

Ironically, few under ground trains still run on diesel.
C'mon this is 21st century, you are in a tunnel and diesel fumes surround you?
As I understood, some of my Collegues with Bronchaitis, were advised not to take the tube by the Company Doctors due to the same reaons.
I doubt what would be the situation during 2012 when thousands of tourists/localites would be commuting for the Summer OG?
I did not see any major road widening/expressway projects on the routes via MCC/St James Park/Wembley etc.
I suppose traffic in London is a major issue that needs to be addressed than just ignoring it due to the legendary posture it has already acquired.

Reducing the usage of London Stadiums and scattering the match days in London can help in mitigating the issue.

Russia 2018 clearly
1) big cities
2) quite in the European area with the exception of Ekaterimburg that is to 40 km of europe
3) big construction index (Moscow city, Yekaterinburg city, volgograd city, Olympiad in Sochi, Okhta center in St.petersburg, universiade of Kazán...)
4) Good airports and communications
5) new stadiums
I am convinced undoubtedly by much more Russia than England

1) England beats you there
2) England beats you there
3) nice use of the ol'e bait and switch there. construction index is a poor second if the stadia are already there/and or need minor improvements.
4) England beats you there
5) refer to point 3

in any case its academic really, i dont think England will get as many votes as the benelux ones. and any support for the obviously inferiour spanish one will translate into votes for anything other than England. England has too many enemies, Jack Warner etc

I think point 5 may be England's undoing, or to be precise, that attidute that what we have now is fine and we don't need to rebuild.

A bid proposing a collection of fine new stadiums is going to be looked upon favourably compared to one proposing a lot of older ones.
