Doha located in the Moscow time zone in winter and in MSD-1 in summer. And there is a direct fly Moscow - Doha. It takes 5 hours to get on plane to Doha from Moscow and 7 hours with 1 change in London from Moscow to Newcastle.

Also it's nearly impossible for Russian to visit Newcastle due to very strict British visa. Even US visa is a lot easier to obtain.

I meant decades, and I'm sure the guy who was posting meant decades aswell because quite honestly, noone can say we should wait 500 years to bid for another World Cup.

England have already said they will relax Tax and Visa laws for the World Cup, so there is no arguement there.

Also lets put the boot on another foot, that will mean it take someone from Newcastle going to a World Cup in Russia 7 hours with 1 change over in London.

Besides FIFA didn't mind.
Yes, I realise that other countries (Italy, France, Germany and, in 2014, Brazil) have also already hosted the World Cup twice.

But the point is that no one is suggesting that any of them should host for a third time any time soon.

Better to give other countries a chance first.

Europe has a good two dozen of countries that can host the World Cup. You already hosted it in 1966. Now it's time for other countries. You wait until 2100's. France should wait as well, Germany should wait. And Russia will wait 1,5-2 centuries for a next World Cup as well.
Who said anything about Britain hosting every 3rd or 4th World Cup? What on earth are you on about?

The fact that we hosted it in 1966 shouldn't count against us, not many people around today in England who can claim they experienced a world cup on home soil. By 2030 it will be 64 years and even then I doubt we will get it unless Fifa sorts itself out. It's obvious the reason why we lost out is because Fifa determines England as an already developed football nation with an ever growing passion for football. This should work in our favour and not count against us.

Mexico? Are you serious? Say that to a real Mexican, not an American who wishes he was a Mexican and he'll slap you. Mexico has bigger fish to fry, like a freaking drug cartel that wants to topple the government. And you think they should spend money on sports?!
Lol. Your funny.
Did you forget Mexico is one of the few countries in the trillion dollar class economy?
The drug cartels are only in Northern Mexico.
And yes Mexico does have the venue to construct new stadiums, and not only that, they are under construction, and some have been inaugurated like the Chivas Stadium.

*We are hosting the 2011 Panamerican Olympics.

Yes, that's true.
But only some states are affected at the moment.
Besides it's a long way to go for 2026.
